Tyrone Tackett reist naar Zuid-Californië om de begrafenis van zijn broer bij te wonen. Deze is om het leven gekomen toen hij dronken met zijn auto door een vangrail is gevlogen, maar Tyrone heeft zijn twijfels en besluit om op onderzoek te gaan. Hij wordt langs alle kanten tegengewerkt, waardoor zijn vermoeden bevestigd wordt dat zijn broer vermoord is. Tackett besluit om het hier niet bij te laten en gaat op zoek naar de moordenaar.
